This performance installation was first presented at Allenheads Contemporary Arts in Summer 2016, and then presented several times during the "As Above So Below" Festival there in Autumn of the same year.

The piece began from a purely speculative improvisation throwing pebbles into a small pond in the woods near Allenheads. The pond is probably there as a result of the mineral mines in the area - mostly lead - now disused. Hydrophone recordings of this improvisation along with a video of the stones being thrown into the pond form the basis of an semi-improvised performance. Pebbles are thrown onto the rusted remains of an old piano frame, repeating the gestures from which the piece originated.
